5 out of 5 stars Nice little Torque Wrench, why pay craftsman prices?   July 27, 2010
BWP1 (CT)
For the shade tree mechanic, this will serve you nicely. Sure, it isn't craftsman, but it is also <$40. Seems to torque nuts and bolts fine in the 10-80 foot lbs. range. Comes with a nice red case and instructions. 5 stars for value compared to use.

5 out of 5 stars Good tool for the price   July 18, 2010

This torque wrench is reasonably well made and a good value for the price. I have used it three times since receiving and it works fine. The storage case is sturdy and a nice feature to protect the tool when not in use. The operating instructions are easy to understand.

4 out of 5 stars Good tool for the money   June 15, 2010

First one I received was completely broken, adjustment sleeve at the bottom of the handle spun freely and a slight grinding noise could be heard inside the wrench. No worries, got it replaced easily in a couple of days.

The case it comes in is tough so I feel confident it wasn't damaged in shipping. Besides, it's a torque wrench... you have to work a bit to break them. I figure it was horked from the factory.

Overall this is a good wrench, fairly easy to set and it provides good tactile and audible feedback when you've reached your torque setting. I've used it for lug nuts, suspension parts and bolts set in concrete... works great every time.

5 out of 5 stars Good inexpensive torque wrench   May 4, 2010
Trials rider (Colorado Springs, CO)
I don't use a torque wrench often but I needed one to adjust tightness of some bolts on my motorcycle. I found this one on Amazon cheaper than anywhere else. Seems to be just fine, no issues to date.
